WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 -- Rep. Jefferson Van Drew, D-New Jersey, issued the following statement on the decision to pull back U.S. troops from Northern Syria:
"I strongly disagree with the President's decision to withdrawal U.S. troops from northeastern Syria. Our Kurd allies have been instrumental in our fight against ISIS.
