OMAHA, Nebraska, Oct. 7 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District awarded a $1,343,000 construction contract Friday to Midwest Construction of Nebraska City, Nebraska to repair damages to the Cedar Creek - Omaha Fish & Wildlife Platte River Right Bank Levee System.
This levee system protects more than $12 million of property along the right bank of the Platte River near Cedar Creek, Nebras . . .
