WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- Rep. Rosa L. DeLauro, D-Connecticut, issued the following statement after the Labor Department released a proposed rule rolling back protections on tipped workers:
"In March of 2018, I was proud to work on a bipartisan, bicameral basis to ensure that tipped workers' wages did not get taken by their employers. The progress we made on that issue is now being used by the Department of Labor to undercut those same workers.
