WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 -- Rep. Nydia M. Velazquez, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Small Business Committee, issued the following statement after the Labor Department released its September jobs report:
"Sadly, today's jobs report confirms recent warnings that our economy is cooling.
