NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, Oct. 4 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana issued the following statement by Executive Director Alanah Odoms Hebert on Supreme Court decision to consider Louisiana abortion restrictions:
The Supreme Court announced today it would hear arguments in June Medical Services v. Gee, which challenges Louisiana's law requiring abortion providers to have admitting privileges at a local hospital.
