ST. LOUIS, Michigan, Oct. 4 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
This week, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy began the second phase of in-place thermal treatment of contaminated soil at the Velsicol Chemical Corp. Superfund site at 500 N. Bankson St. in St. Louis. EPA anticipates this work will be completed in late 2021.
Special equipment is being used . . .
