WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following joint statement with Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-Rhode Island, on a speech by President Trump on health care:
"The American people aren't buying Donald Trump's scare tactics on health care. Democrats want people to have choices for their health care - whether that's Medicare Advantage or allowing Americans under 65 to join the program if they choose.
