WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Sen. Mazie K. Hirono, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release:

In a letter to Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, the Hawaii Congressional Delegation is urging the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide much needed relief to Hawaii farmers and agricultural producers who were uniquely affected by the Kilauea eruption.
