NASHVILLE, Tennessee, Sept. 30 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Tennessee Field Office issued the following news release:
Tennessee farmers harvested 14.4 million bushels of winter wheat during the summer of 2019 according to the Tennessee Field Office of USDA'S National Agricultural Statistics Service. This was down 22 percent from the previous year.
Yield is estimated at 67.0 bushels per acre, up 2.0 bushels from 2018. . . .
