WACO, Texas, Sept. 30 -- The American Football Coaches Association issued the following news:
One week after dropping a disappointing loss to a conference rival, Colorado State-Pueblo rebounded with a 24-17 upset win over then-No. 11 Texas A&M-Commerce. The ThunderWolves scored the winning touchdown early in the fourth quarter, then its defense pitched a shutout for the rest of the game to maintain the lead. CSU-Pueblo moves up two spots to No. 18 in this week's AFCA Division II . . .
