WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Homestead National Monument of America issued the following news release:
Homestead National Monument of America will be hosting Ann Weisgarber. Ann is the author of several published novels. Her Debut novel, The Personal History of Rachel Dupree, takes place in 1917, and details the experiences of an African American homesteading family in the South Dakota Badlands.
