WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 -- Rep. Tom Reed, R-New York, issued the following news release:
Today, Rep. Tom Reed announced a $1,293,388 grant for lead abatement in the City of Elmira. This project was funded through the Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes and will help the city of Elmira reduce lead-based paint hazards.
"We care about the community of Elmira and making sure its citizens, especially children, can live in a healthy, safe and lead-free environme . . .
