Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities Issues Statement on FUTURE Act

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Sept. 28 -- The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities issued the following statement by President and CEO Antonio R. Flores on Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tennessee, objection to the passage of the FUTURE Act:

"HACU is extremely disappointed in Chairman Alexander's decision to object to the passage of the FUTURE Act, which will allow $255 million of critical annual funding to lapse not only for Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), but also for Hist . . .
