WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 -- Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Illinois, issued the following statement regarding the latest updates from Democrats' impeachment inquiry:
"This is a complete failure of Democratic leadership and an embarrassment to the institution. Not only will we not address infrastructure, student loan debt, prescription drug costs or any other major legislative item during impeachment proceedings, but this makes Congress' constitutional oversight role look like a complete joke . . .
