WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, issued the following news release:
Today, Representative Greg Walden (R-Hood River) announced that the Department of Transportation (DOT) will award a discretionary grant totaling $950,000 to the Grant County Regional Airport in John Day.
The funding will help pay for the reconstruction of the airport's apron, which is where an aircraft parks, unloads, loads, refuels, and boards.
