WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wisconsin, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin today joined Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Senators Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Dick Durbin (D-IL) to introduce the bipartisan Whistleblower Programs Improvement Act (WPIA) that would extend whistleblower protections to more individuals who report wrongdoing and violations of securities and commodities law.
