NEW YORK, Sept. 25 -- PBS issued the following news release:
PBS programs were honored with nine News & Documentary Emmy(R) Awards, the second most-earned by any organization. The 40th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards were presented at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York City on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).
