WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Arizona, issued the following statement in response to news that Valley Metro will a receive $75 million grant from the Federal Transit Administration's Capital Investment Grants Program for the Tempe Streetcar project.
The announcement comes as Valley Metro makes plans to expand in areas throughout the region, including in the South Central neighborhood in Phoenix.
