NEW YORK, Sept. 25 -- The Natural Resources Defense Council issued the following statement by Luke Tonachel, director for clean cars and fuels, on the announcements by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham to tackle car pollution:
