WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following excerpts of his floor remarks on Tropical Storm Imelda's devastation on southeast Texas:
"Tropical Storm Imelda made landfall in Southeast Texas last week and dropped a massive amount of rain all across the region."
