WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following article from The Economics Daily:
From August 2018 to August 2019, 26 states added nonfarm payroll jobs while 24 states and the District of Columbia were essentially unchanged. The largest percentage gains occurred in Nevada (+3.0 percent), Utah (+2.8 percent), and Washington (+2.6 percent). The largest job increases occurred in California (+314,200), Texas (+303,500), and Florida . . .
