ARLINGTON, Virginia, Sept. 25 -- America's Public Television Stations issued the following statement by Lonna Thompson, executive vice president, chief operating officer and general counsel, on the launch of WKAR Public Media and Michigan State University's NextGen Media Innovation Lab:
