HOUSTON, Texas, Sept. 21 -- Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, issued the following statement announcing his intended absence from the 'Howdy Modi' event:
"I love my country. I salute the flag and pledge allegiance to justice for all. I believe that no one is above the law. This is why I will continue with the impeachment of President Trump.
"This is also why, although I will work with this administration on meaningful legislation and substantive issues . . .
