WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following joint statement with Rep. Michael Doyle, D-Pennsylvania, chairman of the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, after a ruling by the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the Federal Communications Commission should have closely considered the impact its 2017 media ownership rules would have on minority ownership:
