WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Rep. Tom Reed, R-New York, issued the following news release:
Today, Rep. Tom Reed announced a $55,000 grant to provide the Cornell Cooperative Extension with funding for the Move Forward Elmira Project. The project is an extension of the Poverty Stoplight Initiative. The funding, provided by the Appalachian Regional Commission, will allow the program to expand the program to two additional areas of the city and help develop 20 new community leaders.
