WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following statement on the U.S. Trade Representative's action to prevent illegal fishing practices by Koreans:
"Illegal fishing is unfair to our fishers and destructive to our oceans.
"I applaud USTR Lighthizer for taking enforcement action against Korea for failing to live up to its commitments to prevent illegal fishing." . . .
