WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- The Catholic Health Association of the United States issued the following news release:
Local leaders report that the community continues to recover from Imelda, and conditions are improving. Community utilities, including power, water and sewage to the hospital remain stable. Two other buildings on the CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth Hospital campus may have been impacted by water damage, so work continues today to assess additional issues.
