WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Rep. Joseph Morelle, D-New York, issued the following statement on the passage of a bipartisan continuing resolution to extend federal funding and avoid government shutdown:
"The House of Representatives has made our priorities clear: we are working every day to improve access to healthcare, create economic opportunity, and support hardworking families across our nation.
