WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Rep. John Carter, R-Texas, issued the following statement after the House passed a continuing resolution to fund the government through Nov. 21:
"While I wish we were passing the final FY20 appropriations bills, I support this Continuing Resolution to keep critical functions of our government running past the end of September.
"I never like governing with repeated short-term solutions, but this CR will ensure that veterans services cont . . .
