WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Reps. Brian Babin, R-Texas, and Randy Weber, R-Texas, issued the following statements after sending a letter to President Trump requesting for an immediate federal disaster declaration to the regions of southeast Texas impacted by Tropical Storm Imelda:
"Ensuring that the residents of Texas's 36th Congressional District are safe and have access to the resources they need during and after this storm is my top priority at this time," said Babin. " . . .
