WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Rep. K. Michael Conaway, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Agriculture Committee, issued the following statement concerning legislation released to keep the government open and requiring that Agriculture Department's Commodity Credit Corporation be replenished, just as Republicans and Democrats demanded:
