WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tennessee, issued the following statement after the House Committee on Education and Labor passed the Dignity in Aging Act (H.R. 4334), legislation that reauthorizes the Older Americans Act:
"Today, the House Education & Labor Committee took an important first step toward reauthorizing the Older Americans Act (OAA), legislation that helps ensure older Americans get critical care and services, and I am proud we did so in a bipartisan . . .
