WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin (both D-Md.) applauded the awarding of $50,000 in federal funds for the American Legion Dorchester Post No. 91 in Cambridge, Md. The funding, provided through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Economic Impact Initiative Grants program, will be used to purchase new furnishings and equipment for the Post, to replace those damaged . . .
