NEW YORK, Sept. 18 -- The Sexuality Information and Education Council of the U.S. issued the following news release:

Today, the Senate Appropriations Committee released its proposed spending measure to fund the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and related agencies for fiscal year (FY) 2020. Samantha Cyrulnik-Dercher, SIECUS' Federal Policy Director, released the following statement in response:
