Rep. Hayes Issues Statement on $2 Million Homeland Security Grant for New Britain, Connecticut

WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 -- Rep. Jahana Hayes, D-Connecticut, issued the following statement in response to news that New Britain, Connecticut, will be a recipient of a $2.35 million in grant funding from the Homeland Security Department:
"I am pleased that another community in my district will benefit from the Department of Homeland Security's SAFER Grant Program.
"This critical $2.3 million in funding will provide a significant investment to increase the ranks . . .
