WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Today, Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson was selected by Speaker Nancy Pelosi as a conferee on the House-Senate Conference Committee for the Fiscal Year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act.
Congresswoman Johnson will actively participate in negotiating the bicameral differences in the bill in order to accurately reflect the country's defense priorities.
