WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tennessee, ranking Republican member of the House Veterans' Affairs Committee, issued the following statement after the House passed the Department of Veterans Affairs Expiring Authorities Act (H.R. 4285):
"I applaud the House for passing this bipartisan legislation that will allow several important veterans' programs to continue.
