WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Rep. K. Michael Conaway, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Agriculture Committee, issued the following statement concerning House Democrats' attempts to deny Agriculture Department the funds to make Market Facilitation Program and Farm Bill payments to farmers and ranchers via the Commodity Credit Corp.:
