PHOENIX, Arizona, Sept. 18 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona issued the following news release:
Today, the ACLU of Arizona joined with twelve advocacy organizations and four lawmakers to sign a letter of demand to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The letter urges the Board to appoint an interim county attorney to replace Bill Montgomery who will immediately begin work to reduce the prison population.
