WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- Sen. Martha McSally, R-Arizona, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Martha McSally (R-AZ) introduced a bill today to make the expansions in the child tax credit, which was included in the 2017 major tax code overhaul, permanent for Arizona's families.
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 doubled the child tax credit from $1,000 to $2,000 and expanded eligibility for families. Under current law, those provisions will phase out after 2025. . . .
