WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- Rep. Albio Sires, D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere, Civilian Security and Trade, issued the following statement in response to the Nicaragua's decision to deny access to members of an Organization of American States Commission on Nicaragua, which was scheduled to visit the country on Sept. 16 and 17:
