NEW YORK, Sept. 13 -- The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene issued the following news release:
The Health Department today reported four human cases of West Nile virus, the first cases identified in the 2019 season: two from Queens, and one from Staten Island and one from Brooklyn.
