WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- Rep. Brian Babin, R-Texas, issued the following statement in response to the ongoing Greenpeace protests on the Fred Hartman Bridge, closing part of the Houston Ship Channel:
"If accurate, reports that the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) is refusing to enforce the law and instead wait out 24 hours of this illegal activity is simply unacceptable.
