WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- Rep. Robin Kelly, D-Illinois, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Robin Kelly announced today that 16 south suburban fire departments will benefit from federal grants totaling nearly $1.4 million.
Fire Departments in Chicago Heights, Steger, Flossmoor, Phoenix and Limestone served as the lead agencies when applying for the funds from FEMA's Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program.
