WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following statement on the Environmental Protection Agency's and U.S. Army's announcement that they would repeal the waters of the U.S. rule, which Cornyn voted against in 2015:
"Texans know better than most the importance of protecting water sources, but the 'Waters of the U.S.' rule prevents farmers, landowners, and job creators from taking care of their land how they know best.
