WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Sens. Richard J. Durbin, D-Illinois, and Tammy Duckworth, D-Illinois, issued the following joint statement after the Senate confirmed the nomination of Steven C. Seeger to serve as a District Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, based in Chicago:
