WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Rep. Van Taylor, R-Texas, issued the following statement on 18th anniversary of September 11th:
"September 11, 2001 was my final day of drill for my Marine reserve unit at the Anacostia Naval Annex in Washington, DC. After handing in my canteen, I planned to go to the Pentagon for lunch. Instead, I watched smoke rise from across the Potomac River as the Pentagon burned from the horrific attack.
