WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Rep. Abby Finkenauer, D-Iowa, issued the following statement on the 18-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 2001, terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, and Somerset County, Pennsylvania:
"We will never forget those we lost on September 11th, 2001.
"Today, I join Iowans, Americans, and people all over the world in remembering each of the nearly 3,000 lives taken that day.
