SCHENECTADY, New York, Sept. 10 -- AARP Foundation issued the following news release:
Three organizations and a solo attorney filed a lawsuit at the Schenectady County Supreme Court this morning against the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany and its agents. The suit, brought on behalf of more than one hundred former employees of St. Clare's Hospital of Schenectady, seeks damages for St. Clare's failure to pay its former employees the pensions it promised.
