ELMHURST, New York, Sept. 10 -- The New York Health and Hospitals issued the following news release, dated Sept. 6:

- New center will feature 5,000 square feet of additional space for a new operating room and additional pre- and post-procedure beds
- NYC Council Speaker, Council Members Dromm and Moya, and the Queen's delegation are funding the $5.5M project; construction is expected to be completed in spring 2021
